As a recently addicted Wordpress programmer, I thought it was about time that I made a contribution to its development. I’ve built a widget that will place local weather and the extended forecast in the sidebar.

The widget uses Javascript and RSS. This post is mainly an introduction and provides a demo of the widget. I intend to publish a number of Wordpress tutorials in the future.
